Moise Garcon, co-founder of the civil and humans rights organization Ayiti Demain and COO of Synergy Forwarding (a leading south Florida-based shipping and transportation company) will be participating in forum discussions, with other community leaders and young people, regarding the Affordable Care Act and its impact on America’s youth.
The second edition of the Summit, scheduled for this Wednesday December 4th, in Washington, D.C., is a briefing and discussion with senior White House officials on the Affordable Care Act and other issues affecting young Americans.
“As an active advocate for the youth and the minorities it is an obligation for me to make sure that my community is involved in the discussions that can possibly transform their livelihood as policymakers tend to neglect the challenging realities of the minorities and their great contribution to the development of this Country,” Moise said.
Moise Garcon has hosted for several years in Atlanta a weekly talk show called “Ayiti Demain” where he reviewed, analyzed with experts the headlines of the week for his wide audience both mainly in America and Haiti. He emphasized more on Leadership, Teamwork and Education for the youth. He also organized the first Socioeconomic Summit for the Haitian Diaspora (HDSS) in Atlanta, GA in April 2012.
I feel that the social media is having more influence on people, especially the youth, which is why I tend to share my opinions and blogs via Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin nowadays…
Moise’s way to justify the reasons why he spends less time on radio lately.
The December 4 summit will be streamed live starting at 2 p.m. on whitehouse.gov/live.
Selected young people aged 18-35 from all over the Country and the world will be participating.
